Geoff Collier launches Dubai office and showroom
Successful UAE Interior Exhibition for 2009
Geoff Collier Ltd, the British based manufactures of traditional brass fittings and lighting, experienced a great deal of interest from local interiors designers and suppliers in the UAE. Previously contending only within the UK market and having established a longstanding reputation for hand producing the highest quality bespoke brass products, the Middle East has proven an excellent region in which to promote their top end products.
‘The past ten months have been spent designing and making the products specifically for the middle-eastern market. We came up with various ideas last spring with the main intention being to exaggerate the size of the goods to fit into a much grander environment than you would encounter in the UK, and at the same time taking classical concepts and simplifying them into contemporary designs’ commented Geoff Collier.
Not only did the show introduce potential new Emirate clients to the British manufacturers, but also transpired into establishing a union with Dubai based interior agents ‘Room with Net’ who are based at the prestigious Fairmont Hotel.
New Dubai Showroom
Office Manager Michelle Mainwaring commented ‘Moving into the Middle Eastern Market is proving very exciting for the company and we are hoping to establish long term relationships with both individuals and designers from the region. Our forthcoming Dubai showroom will be part of a ‘journey’ concept whereby the products will be displayed as works of art within a collective space for interior companies, architects and designers. The idea is based on ‘one stop shop’ which will also include virtual desk space for business people travelling through who require an address in Dubai. The whole concept is cutting edge and should provide an excellent environment to showcase our products’
Geoff Collier Ltd also recently launched ‘The Geoff Collier Collections’ a new division to the business which includes the exclusive collections: Period Lighting, Shell Collection, and the Neo-Palladio Collection, adding to the established online archtectural fittings catalogue.
